American Arctic Freeze: This Freezing Rain Is No Joke

The Pacific Northwest is also suffering from the effects of this winter, which are not limited to the east coast. Weather in Oregon and Washington has been quite frightening. These areas have experienced hours of nonstop freezing rain, which has covered everything in an ice layer. Similar to this picture, the ice that has built up on the window at first appears to be nothing more than the glass before revealing itself to be an ice layer.

Although it appears impressive in this photograph, it might be dangerous. Be careful out there, especially if a huge icicle falls from a tree or a building onto people below.
