Photos That Demonstrate the Power of Nature in an Unfiltered Way
Rivers and other Bodies of Water can be Redirected by Hurricanes
When Hurricane Mitch struck Central America in 1998, Mother Nature amply demonstrated her might. Many of Honduras’ numerous waterways and tiny islands are well-known, but some of these waterways were directly impacted by the hurricane. The Choluteca Bridge, seen here, was built to cross a river, but Mother Nature’s hurricane completely changed the course of the water, turning this structure into a bridge to nowhere.
Mother Nature has a purpose for changing the course of this river; she has a way of working that is mysterious.
