Let’s face it: sometimes camping is terrible. Don’t get us wrong, camping can be fantastic if everything goes smoothly, but if sleeping on the ground were the intended method of human habitation, why did we create houses? Otherwise, like at the reserved camping site, we’d all be stuck sleeping in muddy water.
They probably didn’t anticipate that much rain when they were making their travel arrangements. No matter how sophisticated your tent is, you don’t want to be sleeping in a puddle that will drench all of your camping equipment. Whoever reserved it might want to reconsider and return when all the water has subsided.
